Woo it was tasty. A variation on a post from long past called “take out fake out” I experimented with chicken instead of beef and added broccoli. It really could have used some peanuts for that extra crunch but mom and I just threw some sliced almonds on top instead (we are bigger almond fans than peanuts ;) ) Next time I make it I’ll share it in photographs and a recipe as well as documentation of the glorious amount of garlic that I put into it (garlic really makes everything better).
I can’t say this is one of the healthiest dishes I make, but it does use low sodium soy sauce and just a…little…brown sugar ^_^ but I am pretty sure it’s A LOT better for you than anything from anywhere where food is served in troughs.
AND HEY! There is Broccoli involved! That’s good right?!
Anyway, it’s back to the cookie search. So far it’s Monster Cookies and Chocolate Crinkles (courtesy of Jim), I’m debating adding cake pops and maybe a muffin or cupcakes although they have a much shorter shelf life.
